Having struggled with disordered priorities in the past (and loving the strength and happiness of a reordered life) I want to punch anyone in the face who tells me to glorify ~thin~. Your weight will not affect your happiness. If you are unhappy and overweight you will simply become unhappy and underweight. Being thin will not make you more loved.
Happiness is internal. That phrase is not some sort of “EDs, mood disorders, etc. are all in your head and you could just get better if you wanted to” idealistic nonsense. Those ideas suck. Ignore them. You and only you must truly love yourself.
And believe me, loving yourself is a pretty damn good place to be. :)
